This Batik Watercolor was painted from a photo taken one cold winter. The deer had gathered along the Malheur River because of the deep snow.

"In The Shade" A very dark Batik Watercolor. The technique of painting wax over the top of a painted surface allows light to shine through the paper.
The Batik Convergence group will have a show at Crossroads Arts Center in Baker City, OR. in November of 2012.

"Vast Wilderness" Acrylic
 This painting won Best of Show, 2-D at the UCACC 3rd annual show in October of 2011.

"Trees of Smoke", an acrylic painting of an aspen grove was entered and accepted into the Watercolor Society of Oregon's Spring show. The Watercolor Society of Oregon holds two shows each year. A spring show and a fall show.

"Dancing Moonlight" A very detailed painting of Irises. Irises are my favorite flower and I have painted many of them. I never tire of their frilly dancing petals. I also love the way the shadows define the shape of the flower.

This watercolor of "Three Pears" was painted for use for a class. I used a doily my Grandmother made and painted the negative spaces to create the design of the pineapple crochet pattern. The background is a copy of a wallpaper pattern.
